Create a new project

When you create a new project, you must select a template or create an empty project. If you select <Empty project> you will need to input all the configuration parameters for this project.

Some project templates allow you to select the primary language to be used in the project.

The project properties dialog will be displayed, where you can input the project specific data.

Note that at this stage you cannot modify the project configuration parameters. It is necessary to validate your settings, (this creates the new project), and you can then edit the configuration parameters.

The newly created project is automatically added to the dockable panel. When a template has been used, the project will automatically be populated with the elements (such as drawings or cover pages), that were present in the template project.
