Macros manager

elecworks™ has a library allowing you to store parts of schemes, called Macros.

Macros are grouped together within the Macros manager and are thus available for use by all projects. The macros have a filtering criteria allowing classification.

Menu: Libraries > Macros manager

The macros manager dialog box opens. It allows you to add, edit or delete macros.

The left-hand side of the manager has two tabs.

Classification

This tab displays the macro classification in a tree.

The left side of the dialog box shows the macro classifications, the right shows the macros in the currently selected classification.

Display sub-classes content: When the box is checked, it displays all the macros contained in the sub-class of the selected classification.

Filters

This tab allows you to filter the macros list. All filtering criteria are the same as those present in the macro properties.

The right side of the dialog box displays the macros corresponding to the selected criteria.

Remove filters: Click this button to remove all filter criteria.

Some of these features accept the multi-selection, such as Delete or Properties.

Open: The macros are viewed as projects. When you click the Open icon, the macro is automatically added to the dockable panel in the Documents tab. It is preceded by a star to avoid confusing it with a project. Double-clicking on the drawing shows the macro, allowing you to open it in the graphical interface.

Delete: Deletes the selected Macros.

Properties: Opens the dialog box of the Macro properties. If you select several Macros, the Properties dialog box displays only the common properties.
