Dear users and partners,
Current year is, as usual, running towards its equator almost without notice. As scheduled we have presented our news in several shows across the world and are very busy planning on next ones hopefully close to you. We are also expanding and reorganizing our teams so that we can better suit your needs. This will be visible within our communications and coming soon on our support sites rebuild.
Solutions offered to you are getting stronger, integrated and more mature; below a quick overview.
elecworks has had a limited version OEM from RS Components: Design Spark Electrical (DSE). DSE is a nice entry level product and it is free! On other hand we have added to elecworks an excel automation module enabling projects generation, an impressive productivity feature. We have presented and started sales of new elec calc 2016. It enables cables sizing and protections’ dimensioning from high voltage to low voltage, totally integrated.
archelios sees two new solutions added. archelios Map is PV Yield Assessment at Urban Scale and archelios Ray is Solar Glint & Glare Analysis Tool.
One last more think, we are very proud to have been chosen by Shanghai Maritime University to equip their advanced electricity laboratory. Thank you for working with us or using our services and solutions. We look forward to your news and suggestions.

elecworks 2016 Service Pack 3 has been released on 31st March 2016. This release includes lots of enhancements, including a new way to easily display series and a new command to faster paste or delete multiple circuits in one shot. There are also 6 new languages available in the projects (Estonian, Persian, Lithuanian, Catalan, Slovenian, Latvian). The major new feature is the new Excel Automation option which enables designers to automatically generate their schematic drawings from an Excel file.

This release follows the update to the AFNOR C15-500 guide. This brings some changes in the calculations with new parameters taken into account. As a major enhancement, this release enables the management of High Voltage networks with a capability to associate with one or more HV / LV transformers to the same high voltage network. Trace Software is present at the BIM World Exhibition in Paris La Défense on 6 and 7 April, 2016. Trace Software invests to integrate BIM into electricity and to develop a dedicated solution to the problems of BIM in the electrical field, BIM elec, combined with elec live application that can also be used as a BIM tool. The developments are made in partnership with our sister company Bim & Co whose aim is to provide a collaborative platform for sharing BIM objects between all partners involved (manufacturers, architects, etc.). |

From 24 to 26 May, Trace Software will attend the automation fair in Parma, Italy, SPS Ipc Drives. Find us at stand C 073, in Pavillion 2, we will presenting our main software for electrical and automation projects, elecworks. Come to our stand to see how you can integrate your electrical schematics in 2D into a powerful 3D solution as PTC Creo. We have developed elecworks for PTC Creo to create the 3D cabinet based on schematics 2D, routing automatically the elements placed in the cabinet, with a real time synchronization of the electrical schematic and 3D CAD model. |
